we just returned from a long weekend getaway in newport.
after making our third annual trip for the newport folk festival,
we've decided this place is paradise.
water. music. shellfish. sun.
you could do worse.

products to stay...

the leadbelly

we recently enjoyed cocktails, oysters, and happy hour specials at the leadbelly.
this establishment, owned by the same team behind the fat radish, boasts live music every night,
a chill atmosphere, a cool crowd, and some killer seafood.

website to know: immaculate infatuation

we were introduced to this epicurean masterpiece by a friend, and it's shaped most of our dining decisions since. run by two friends in the music industry, the website and app gives in-depth reviews of local restaurants, which are clever and entertaining to boot. based on menu, atmosphere, location, and price, these guys give great suggestions for all activities, including chronic brunch and dinner with the in-laws. they're honest and discerning and we haven't been let down by them yet.

style crush

mary kate's sweater / skirt formula feels like the perfect way
to transition to warmer weather dressing.

springing forward

the baracuta guys do make a pretty good argument.
