we could not recommend this show more. our whole group really got into it - dressing and playing the part - and it was so worth it. this made for a totally unique evening and great time with friends.

this saturday we brunched with friends at murray's cheese bar, 

the restaurant associated with the iconic new york fromagerie, murray's cheese shop.

they already sold us with the cheese flights, then officially won our hearts and stomachs with stumptown coffee, some kind of creamy crack sauce, perfectly poached eggs, and left hand milk stout.

a weekend in canada

we spent our first weekend of the new year visiting with family living in canada - a first for both of us -  

sipping manhattans, snowy hikes, sneaking into dark ballrooms in posh hotels, hearty breakfasts, and so much flannel.
